Kopi Luwak is an extraordinary exotic type of coffee. It has a rich, strong flavor with a hint of caramel and chocolate.

This unusual coffee comes from Indonesia, where little mammals called Luwaks (Paradoxurus hermaphrodites) live. One of Luwak’s favorite foods is the red coffee cherry. They eat ripe coffee cherry and beans. While the bean is in the animal’s stomach, it undergoes chemical treatment and fermentation. The bean finishes its journey through the digestive system and exits. These beans are collected and cleaned, then roasted and grounded just like any other coffee. The result is said to be like no other in the world.
